John Gormley’s election focus
Meanwhile, Meehawl Martin is a dick. But you know this already. via broadsheet.ie
No Attenborough – no gravitas
I’ve watched three episode of the BBC’s Human Planet series. Basically they go to the far corners of the earth to look at the ways the human race has adapated to life there, changed the landscape, coped with climates etc … Continue reading
Fine Gael Manifesto fail
This is from their Manifesto, under the heading 5.3 -Keeping Communities Vibrant Supporting Irish Pubs: Fine Gael recognises the importance of the Irish pub for tourism, rural jobs and as a social outlet in communities across the country. We will … Continue reading
Hello and welcome to Northern Ireland
“Every little counts”, says Tesco. Being a sucker for classy, subtle advertising I tend to pick up some of my shopping there because, frankly, it’s cheaper. Anyway, off I went this morning to pick up some food for Bastardface. The … Continue reading
Nothing is real anymore
Stargate Studios 2010 Virtual Backlot Demo from Stargate Studios on Vimeo. I mean, space battles and rapelling down buildings, sure, but walking down the street? I feel cheated.
A vision of the future
Gilmore: “The reason I look smug is because I’m distancing myself from them … for I am superior in every respect”. Gormley: “I’m doomed anyway, might as well have a good old chortle while I can. What incinerator?”. Kenny: “Haw … Continue reading
No hopers
Skinner summed up the immense cuntitude of this election in this post. Do we do tactical voting? Vote for people you normally wouldn’t just to punish the ones who mismanaged the country. It’s a tough one. What about that Dylan … Continue reading
Falco – swearer supreme

From Dublin Opinion, John Gormley talking about the bank guarantee: The Minister for Finance has brought forward a mechanism which minimises the cost to taxpayers but at the same time places a bedrock of State guarantee under our banking sector. … Continue reading
Another reason not to vote FF
On the radio this morning, Mary Hanafin. “We know there are Fianna Fail voters who won’t be voting Fianna Fail and we want to assure them that were working to ensure we uphold the same standards and values as we … Continue reading
On the radio this morning, Mary Hanafin.
“We know there are Fianna Fail voters who won’t be voting Fianna Fail and we want to assure them that were working to ensure we uphold the same standards and values as we always have” – paraphrasing but it’s more or less what she said.
The same values, eh? The ones that have brought us to the great place we’re in now. Not a hint of ‘We’re going to change’, just be assured that Fianna Fail won’t forget it is that makes Fianna Fail Fianna Fail.
Corruption. Bribery. Expenses fiddling. Poor governance. Thievery. Fraud. Criminality. Profiteering. Protecting their ‘friends’ and everything else, ALWAYS to the detriment of the Irish people.
Imagine, their selling point is ‘We’re going to do the same as we always did’.
Vote FF this election and you’re a stupid cunt.
