Surely it’s obvious to everyone now that building on flood plains is a bad idea. These developers were stupid though. They should have just built skyscrapers where the two bottom floors were a swimming pool. That way if there was ever a flood the pool would just get a bit dirty instead of peoples homes and business being swept away. They’re also tidal wave proof if there’s ever an Asian tsunami in Ireland.
And with people being urged to go out and buy drinking water is it just coincidence that the heads of Ballygowan, Volvic, Perrier, Pellegrino and Tesco Natural Irish Spring Water Which Isn’t Simply Filtered Tap Water We Swear all had a secret meeting in a top Dublin restaurant last month?
I think not. The powerful ‘You have water already but need better water to live a fulfilling life’ cartel have questions to answer.

Nobody seemed to realise that if you take hundreds of acres of fields and cover them with houses, roads and driveways then water that fell and would otherwise have soaked into the ground is trapped on the surface. Dumb Cunts.
