Sign of the times

Grafton Street looks just a bit grotty at the moment, doesn’t it? I’m surprised that shop sign was allowed.

Taken yesterday, click for big.

Twenty, if you want to get some decent pics taken of your area, just send a return air ticket. You’re not that far from Oz. Practically in the neighbourhood.

Hullo 1985! Perhaps Liam Ó Maonlaí will busk for headbutts.. * sighs *

  5. Twenty Major says:

He wouldn’t even have to busk to get one of those, Alexia.

I rememeber it was only a few weeks after they re-floored grafton street (And also henry street when it was done) and the ground was already covered in chewing gum.

    Nice.

  8. Sweary says:

Grafton St. was refloored? Sure tis hardly a shock that Dubs couldn’t be trusted with a new floor…

Having said that, I would have expected their attention to be taken up with feckin’ the old one from the skip round the corner. Life’s full of surprises, I suppose.

  13. itchybollix says:

fuck…looks like a place I used to work in on saturdays in Pearse Street during the early 80′s. Of course none of this irish financial meltdown is the fault of the delusional cunt who is called Bertie Ahearn. So what if he was giving long-term wage increase to the public sector on the back of short-term transactional taxes? we just don’t understand…

    cunt.

ugh; and I’m not even hungover
