Ned – I imagine the people of his Constituency would have thought there was something wrong with him if he HADN’T milked the system – it’s the national disease like all the spurious compo claims for whiplash and damage from tripping on dodgy pavements. We had the same here with a Cunt called Harry West who was caught out – the people of Fermanagh had no problems with him – after he was sacked for a dodgy land deal they continued to elect him as “after all he was only doing what was natural”

I take it he fully explained his wife’s entitlement to travel and expenses (just for travelling with him, not because she had to put her hand in her pocket), and all the difficult and time-consuming work she has put in for the Irish people as the wife of a Minister and Ceann Comhairle?
Not to mind the cost of his state-funded chauffeur service which he kept on standby traveling the roads of Ireland while he and the missus took the plane. The unmitigated, jumped up, arrogant, profligate little prick.

As the first anniversary of the bank guarantee passed us some weeks ago the media told us that the guarantee was valued at 261% of Ireland’s GDP. I checked the sums on this and our GDP for 2008 was €181 billion (€189 billion in 2007). Now if you multiply 181 x 2.61 you come up with a mind boggling €472 billion! That’s the amount on deposit in Irish banks that we as taxpayers guaranteed. Now where the fuck is all that money gone and how in Christ’s name can we get hold of a slice of it? That amount would fund NAMA nine times over.
