Liam Carroll’s appeal rejected … again

Some common sense at last.

The High Court has refused an application for examinership by seven companies controlled by developer Liam Carroll. However, he severely criticised the way in which certain figures have been presented to the court by the companies.

Posing in-depth questions, Mr Justice Clarke said the accounts were ‘either presented in a very poor way or just plain wrong.’ He said he took a ‘very serious view’ of how the company presented its income figures. He said there were ‘many inaccuracies in the material’.

Many inaccuracies = false information? Lying to the court kind of false to help your case? Surely not.

Who will Carroll appeal to now? The Jedi High Council?

the judge said the plan was a load of bollix
    at best
but still all the irish banks (the cunts)were happy to go along with it
NAMA must be the biggest scam of all time

  3. Twenty Major says:

Aye, the judge has just about accused them of cooking the books to try and save their skins, yet only ACC bank objected. Like you say the others were quite happy to go along with it and even give evidence that survival was probable and the companies would return to profit in the future.

    Fucking cunts.

If there was misrepresentation then there should be prosecutions – it would happen if it was some poor sod being economical with the truth to get housing benefits.

Great ! One less for NAMA to bail out – if his empire implodes quickly enough – as I hope it will. We will then see what his property is actually worth. This would be an interesting benchmark for Brian Lenihan and NAMA.

This Liam Carroll is the man who gave us “shoebox appartments” and some of the most dangerous building sites in Ireland (Zoe Developments had a notorious safety record.)

The fact that he needed 57 companies, registered in places like Jersey says it all…..

    Oh happy daysssss

While I’m sure there’s a lot of celtic tiger shit to wash out of the dirty laundry, it is brilliant the the judge has faced down these complete sheisters.

My question is, however, if the judge thought the “plan” was a pile of wank, why did the bankers continue to support Liam Carroll? I mean if I owed the bank money and presented a plan to them that was written by my cat, I’d expect to be laughed out of court… but just why were bankers supporting Carroll’s ‘Zoe in wonderland’ plan? What was in it for them, more than returns on property/ investments peut-etre?

Carrolls attempt to get his dole was about as realistic as Tomo from Tallaght going in to get his slip at 9.00am in Werburgh Street..tombed off his marble on crack and Benylin. It merely emphasises the massive bullshit factor regarding the outlook of developers in general that he even asked.

Still, he was heard a second time. And given a considered answer. Bet Tomo wasn’t.

Carroll is a cunt who put his three or four houses away from legal check to his wifes name just last week. And just a week before that sent an order to one his tenants threatening court action, unless a bill of less than 200 yoyos was paid up. 200 yoyos? Scroogelike cunt. Imagine paying a lawyer hard money to send out that sort of a bill? And then coming looking for a public dig-out stretching to millions? Let that shit slide. Along with the stats of dead builders on his watch.

*Sighs*…and nothing will change. Meet the new boss – same as the old boss. Won’t get fooled again? Ha – Balls. Ballocks. Bollix.

  10. Fill3rup says:

Next stop for Carroll is to fake his own death…hows about make it happen for real..
Make it a ridiculous death though,y’know, slpstick.so people laugh when they hear about it for years to come.
Like he slips on some ball bearings, rolls along the footpath into a man carrying a bucket of glue, which spills over him just as another (conveniently placed) chap is carrying a box of chicken feathers,so we have slidy chicken man sliding along the path into oncoming traffic (cement mixer),in the background a mime is copying every move of this Buster Keaton style death… Just a though..

  11. maggot says:

Hmmm Fill – how about the state saving itself a few Euros by bumping him off ? But in such a manner as it’s thought that he has tried to have faked his own suicide ?

  12. Fill3rup says:

    Nah,it has to be slapstick!!

Im setting up The Keystone Killers Inc.. Comedy take outs….

  19. johnnypiles says:

ain’t it obvious what the next scam is?,the banks involved with NAMA will buy Liamo’s debt off ACC,{it would take months to recover the 100 odd million he owes them, and hugh legal fees},why should ACC give a flying fuck ’bout oirland, they’l get the cash within 2 weeks from our banks, and so the rape ‘n pillage can commence without hindrence,we’rr fucked lads and lassies, our only hope is the Greens developing balls over the weekend

  20. Get Smart says:

Im suppose hes just following the example on the government as with the Lisbon Treaty keep trying till you get the the result you want.
