How refreshing to hear Trevor getting a mention.
He is so often overlooked.

Having one of my William McGonnigal moments, apologies to the great man.
Our Lady of the Axe Rathkeale.
O Lady, O Lady, O Lady of Rathkeale
We of humble origins, doubting Thomas’s and heathens before you should kneel.
All hail to the axeman, for it is he who should be praised, and the man who trained him and sharpened his axe, we give thanks!
All praise to the people of Rathkeale
For it was a sin to by-pass it.
Let the NRA hang their head in shame,
To be fair they’re not totally to blame.
Lo and behold I’ll finish
Let not one of you cast the first smirk
For I have to go
To make my epic journey
to the church in Rathkeale,
where our Lady is carved in wood
so they say
’cause I know I should, and I could
