I know plenty of people who'd be happy to go to a club that stopped serving alcohol at 4am but was allowed to stay open until 7 or 8 for the benefit of people who are their for the music (and by the music, I mean the drugs) rather than drinking. I've never seen any kind of trouble (inside or outside) of the bigger clubs in London that stay open until 9 or 10am. The obvious reason is that anyone still standing at that hour is probably going to be off their mash on ecstasy pipes and not really in the mood for kicking in kebab shop windows.
