we just had a group of lads on TV (The Chaser) here in Oz do a sketch about the “Make a Wish foundation” for kids with cancer. Cancer kids get to wish for something and the foundation gets to deliver.
A trip to Disneyland, meeting Amy Whitehouse (!), riding a horse, or vice versa.
Anyway, they called it the Make a Realistic Wish Foundation.
Want a trip to Disneyland.? Can’t help. Have a stick instead.
Their sign off line was, “What difference will it make, they’re going to die anyway…”.
Heads rolled.
Suspended for a couple of weeks.
Polititions railed.
