I’m feeling the effects of the sun

Honestly, I’ve spent too long out in the sun this weekend. I’m having wild hallucinations and seeing and hearing things.

I mean, I thought I heard Fine Gael give tacit endorsement to involving Sinn Fein in government. Imagine. I’m doolally.

And I hallucinated a news story about Anglo Irish Bank get another €4bn of our money when they can’t find €9m to keep a couple of wards at Crumlin Children’s Hospital open.

I think the heat has given me brain tumors in my anus. It’s the only explanation.

we should be grateful. My cup ‘o’ hatred for Fianna Fail was so over-runningeth that Fine Gael didnt seem such a bad alternative.. thank god they reminded me how utterly shit and cunty they are too.

NONE OF THE ABOVE .. anyone??

I have just made one promise to myself,

I am NOT going to complain about the heat!

Even when you burn you arse getting into the car and you cant breathe, or you leave the butter out and it turns to a golden liquid, I’m not. We have to embrace this heatwave, its the only thing deflecting my attention from the gammy politicians!

I think the person who posted that Opus Dei had got to Twenty might be on the right track. Did any clerical gentlemen offer you sweets or cold drinks ?

How weird is this – I was reading a long article about Colonial psychiatric care earlier and one of the things I noticed was an explanation as to the origins of the expression doolally !

Associated with heat, heavy drinking and sexual promiscuity !!!

My favourite Shinner your side of the border though has to be Aengus Ó Snodaigh – remember a bunch of his boys being lifted in Bray by the Garda 2002 ? So he phones the cops and asks if Niall Binead was one of those arrested and the Garda says – No, but thanks for the tip! Ooops!

    Letter, SF Endorsement

“Who said this? “Obviously, if the circumstances change, our view in relation to Sinn Féin going into government will change.” Frank Flannery? No! It was the then Minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern, way back in October 2004. He also said: “It is only a matter of time that Sinn Fein will be in government . . .” ”

Did Toireasa Ferris pay for her degree, or ask her daddy to go get it for her? (knew her growing up: she used to beg the Yanks for money, while the rest of us went out and worked for it…).
