Dear Eamon Keane,
1 – Please learn how to pronounce players names before you talk about football. There is no such player on the Barcelona team as ‘Zavi’ and when the experienced football writer you’re interviewing repeatedly calls him ‘Chavi’ maybe you should open your fucking ears and learn something.
2 – After hyping up the Swine Flu with stories of people in different countries showing symptoms, all the while reminding us of how many people died in Mexico, don’t then turn around and ask some GP in Cork ‘Is there a danger the media are hyping this out of all proportion?’. I mean, seriously.
3 – Please ensure that the ‘breaking news’ you so often refer to is actually something fucking interesting and not just some half-baked press release that’s just come in on the fax machine.
4 – You are a cunt.
5 – Shut up.

OK, ok, so a lot of them are a bunch of either smarmy cunts or naive wannabee smartarses, but some of them occasionally have their moments. It’s a consolation to know that nobody, nobody could ever, ever be as big a cunt as Gaybo. So the darkest days are safely in the past.
There may well be a pool of new talent out there, but I reckon the fellow in this video should stick with his day job for the moment. Mind you, he does call a Garda a “cunt”, so Twenty’s trendsetting is bearing fruit.

Just heard on RTE that the Gardai have described the discovery of a body in a car boot as “suspicious”.

We won’t fall out over this, but I still remember Gaybo and his packed-jury studio audience of grim Kerry Catholic hags, especially the one with buck teeth, when Annie Murphy (remember, the lady who had a son by a bishop and expected him to pay for the young man’s education) appeared on the late Late.
That was an example of hard-core, deeply ingrained cuntism that the three you mention – especially Ryan – are working hard to achieve – but Gaybo is a hard act to follow.
