That would be the best chance they have. It would allow them keep the shop going. Putting ‘Hi-Fidelity’ on the junior cert would also help.

I’m not racist but is Road Records trouble a bit Bewley’s in that it’s a case of falling sales and simply unavoidable? I don’t want to see them go but charity is not going to keep them in business long term.

Maybe it might help them set up some kind of online/mail order service which I think they’ll have to do if they want to survive.

I’m not a racist,but i hope that it isnt charity and people start realising that specialist shops add character to the city and are vital,so if it cost a couple of quid extra for that album than in the chain store,that they’ll spend their money there,Kind of like its better to buy meat from a butcher shop than in a supermarket…
