Irish blog awards tonight

Just a quick one to wish good luck to everyone nominated tonight. And remember, it’s not about winning or losing, it’s about getting as drunk as possible and vomiting in people’s handbags.

See you later.

    Which handbag are you bringing – remember this season is all about the clutch, which is much lighter to hold but doesn’t have as much volume.

    You get a couple of mentions in this morning’s Irish Times Twenty. There’s a feature condemning the state of Irish blogging in comparison with the rest of the world in the Culture supplement.
    I won’t repeat the crap from it concerning The Book, but you might take solace from the very last line of the feature;
    “Until then, Twenty Major will continue to rule the roost in the Irish blogosphere.”

    Congratulations on your success last night, and long may you reign.
