Just in case you think there arent enough people wasting your tax money, some Gee-bag (with name as Gaelige) has gone to the high court to get health warnings on cigarette products ‘as gealige’ as well as in english. You will travel on a long road to get your name in the same sentence as Brendan Behan and for that much I top my hat etc.I don’t think it is possible to compare writers from different time periods but if somebody needs to do it then let them do it.
