I used to dispose of worn out car batteries and stuff like that ‘responsibly’, but now I shag it in the nearest farmers field- or a local river-cause all this taxation on refuse an rubbish pisses me off. Its my silent protest I suppose.Gives me an illicit pleasure (and a half a million others as well..judging by the press reports.!)
Guess Im not a good ‘greenperson’ ah well.
The farmers can get a subsidy for disposing of it-always do..for everything.

I think you missed the hidden story. Prepare for a new tax on batteries.

Prepare yourselves for another “Producer Recycling Fund Contribution” when you buy your batteries, similar to the existing one on electric things.

I had to pay the PRF on lightbulbs I bought the other day.

And when you try to bring the blown bulbs back to shops staff refuse you unless you have a receipt.

I leave them on the counter anyway.

Cows,that the answer,get rid of the fuckers,their farts cause 70% of our yearly c02 or whatever it’s called limit.We could sell off our excess carbon to other countries and make a fortune. We could still afford to drive 2 litre cars,use normal light bulbs and waste electricty,guilt free.If you still want beef they do some nice stuff in brazil.
