Brad Mehldau's scorching jazz piano versions of Paranoid Android and Dear Prudence off his Largo album are superb. Agree re Tainted Love and The Gourds. Al Green's version's of For The Good Times by Kris Kristofferson, Light My Fire by the Doors and Oh Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison are all magical. St Etienne turning Neil Young's Only Love Can Break Your Heart into a widescreen glamourous ballad. Patti Jo's uptempo version of Curtis Mayfield's Make Me Believe In You. Baby Huey and the Babysitters doing Curtis Mayfield's Hard Times. Dub Syndicate tripping out the Doctor Who Theme Tune. There's just too many!
