Let’s just get it over with

So Pat Rabbitte referred to Michael McDowell as a ‘menopausal Paris Hilton’ in the debate last week and now he’s had to ‘eat his words’ apparently.

What a load of shite. Would there be such furore if Mary Harney called Enda Kenny a ‘prostatey Ryan Tubridy’?

Let’s be fair though, Rabbitte should have just called McDowell a cunt and be done with it, because that’s what he is.

Nice to see Bertie squirm a bit yesterday when the numbers man got his numbers wrong about health and taxes (but I bet you he could tell you how much he had in his safe at any stage in the last 20 years, even if the money wasn’t his).

1,000 health service jobs are to go. I suppose that’s fair enough really. I mean, the hospitals are efficient, well run and not at all understaffed. What we do need to do though is get rid of front line hospital staff in Dublin, Cork and Galway as well as ambulance and hospice workers (and sure let’s close down St Luke’s in Dublin and stick all the cancer patients in with the junkies and scumbags that populate the miserable shithole that is St James’ hospital) and ensure that the bureaucrats and adminstrators can keep pushing their pencils around their desks while people don’t get treated, get misdiagnosed and generally get fucked around by the shambles that is the health service in this country.

That’s not even mentioning the rake of new consultants on €250,000 a year (via Dec) who will give you an appointment in May when you call them in January, then deign to spend little more than 2 minutes with you with all the ‘bedside’ manner of a greedy relative waiting for you to die so they can lay claim to your inheritence.

People are being shot in the head, stabbed in the neck, poisoned by the fucking water for fuck’s sake, fleeced for everything they buy and generally being pissed about by the bowsy that runs this country and his gang of pocket-lining, half-witted, cupidinous geebags that take their lead from him. It’s no wonder the place is a fucking mess.

Anyway, next week it’ll all be over and we can go back wondering whether or not Dirty Dave would rather be a bladdernut, a sequoia or a Douglas fir (he’d rather be a bladdernut, because the name is funny. Like if he went to live in London he’d make sure he lived in ‘Cockfosters’ so that when anyone asked him where he lived he could say ‘Cockfosters’ with the emphasis on the cock).

You were right to stay away from politics…

This place is not a mess. Go to Darfur. That’s a mess.

They must all be dead there by now, surely…

I’d have said Darfur is a fucking fiasco more than a mess. Possibly even a disaster.

But anyway, just because somewhere else has a bunch of maniacs slaughtering people wholesale doesn’t magically make Bertie a non-cunt. He’s just a non-cunt who hasn’t yet decided genocide would look good on the oul CV.

If Darfur when people are left to die it’s a disgrace, in Ireland it’s industrial relations.

Argh, last line of the above should have been “He’s just a *CUNT* who hasn’t yet decided genocide would look good on the oul CV.” Cant be accidentally not calling Bertie a cunt when he clearly is one…

So Twenty the big question for me on the general election is as follows: Is a vote for Fianna Fail a vote for a Sinn Fein coalition?

’tis all very simple. Ireland is now a nation of greedy cunts, and watch as we go back and re – elect the fuckers who were lucky enough to be in power when we got a few bob in our pockets.

Anto – A vote for anybody is a vote for “a coalition” of some sort. They’d all sleep with each other if it came down to it. Labour’s party line the whole way through the campaign was to provide an “alternative government” but Rabbitte would go with FF as well. According to him he’d do that to keep SF out – and not trying to grab a few last minute panic votes.

Bollox. Whoever is in a position to make a Government will do it anyway they can and they don’t care who it’s with. This is democracy you know. You don’t get a choice.

remember – Bertie appointed Liam Lawlor to the House ethics Committee.

That’s taking the piss – kick him out.

Gooseberry is right – the country is and always was
    (a) Greedy
    (b) Rascist

we are cunts and deserve the cunts we get

Gomaith I agree with your comments and that any bloody politican will do anything it takes with anyone to get into power, with Bertie the master of that particular gig. But I really really really don’t want to see the Shinners in government south of the Border…and is a vore for Bertie a vote potentiall for a FF/SF coalition. Or am I just old fashioned for disliking the Shinners so much for what they and others have done to ther island of Ireland over the last thirty five years.

What about if we voted for the PD’s but Not McDowell or Harney? Would the rest of them all run around in circles with their heads under their wings. Personaly I was hoping the guy who made a shite of mcdowell’s lawn would run as in independent. he’d be a shoe in!

The only problem is, those geebags running the HSE and the rest of the civil service will still be there when the next bunch of care-in-the-community rejects take power.

Martin Cullen couldn’t run a lemonade stall but don’t forget he is just the numbskull who signed off on things like e-voting. It’s the faceless, nameless donkeys in the civil service who come up with this shit and run the country into the ground.

Anto, Old fashioned ? Not really. Depends how old you are. If you’re more than a hundred years old and you don’t like SF, you might have had a cushty number when the Black and Tans were buring down houses and kicking the shit out of everbody. If you’re less than a hundred then you’re probably like the rest of us in the “Republic” I suppose who aren’t from Northern Ireland and never got the shit kicked out of us there by British soldiers/Parimiliatries.

All depends. Fashion tends to come in and out. Still waiting for a proper mini skirt revival though. One of those would go down well this Summer.

Gonlaith, the fashion will never come for me to vote for a crowd of cop-killing, wedding reception blowing up, unapologetic bank robbers.

Gomaith,if you can’t find a mini skirt that fits you send me your measurements , and I’ll get my Turkish neighbour to make you up one, from a kilt I found in an Orange hall in Belfast, when I was there with the Paras!

Not only was Liam Lawlor on the “Ethics committee”…

Wasn’t it CJH who put Donie Cassidy and Pascal Mooney on the “Cultural” committee…

    Save me…!

Maybe it was called the “The Ethics Committee” for short… The full title must have been “The know nothing, and care less, about ethics committee”…

    itchybollix, speak for yourself!

You may be a cunt, alomg with Bertie and co, but the rest of us are the VICTIMS of cuntery, over which we normally have no control, but this election is our chance to try to kisck the cunts into touch.

If you align yourself with these shitehawks, you deserve all you get!

Twenty. Always with the finger on the pulse re. FF. Howver, don’t you think they should cut some of those HSE jobs though? I’d say we could do with 1,000 less paper pushers & bureacrats in the HSE…

As a btw… the Bertie money issue was never ‘political’. It’s marital. I’m sure he never intended to be so broke when he was splittin’ from de missus, it just happened that way. And the dig outs that he got weren’t, so to speak, on the books cos then herself would have been entitled to a slice of the wad. Or words to that effect to Mickey Mac, who kept his counsel when tricky questions came bubbling up. Like, were any affadavits sworn about his financial circumstances at the time?

At least y’all have a health service.

And Bertie may be a cunt, but he’s no George Dubya. Doesn’t have the billion-dollar toys to throw around.

Almost makes us long for the Clinton days when a Hummer was a blowjob and not a vehicle stuffed with 18-year-olds who were too stupid to go to university and just got blown up instead.

Agreed about McDowell, although he’s only a pseudo fascist. That’s the problem with this country, we’ve gone all soft and PC. At least my poicies are genuinely visionary, if rabidly right wing. I’d sack all the gardaí and bring back the blueshirts.
