Be under no illusion, the Bean Baron and Biffo have already met to discuss how best to agree progress on the election. That’s bad enough but add to it the fact that the Late Late show have three pundits on and two of them declaring themselves as avid FF’ers, the whole thing stinks of unapologetic bias.

I read somewhere today in the UK press that Ahern has managed a “Lazarus-like” come-back after the debate with Enda Kenny and is polling at 41%. The man sounds like he’s got the luck of the…who’re these lucky bastards again? That’s right, you lot, he’s got the luck of the you lot.

I’ve been following this a wee bit in the Irish blogs and papers and he seems like a right jammy arsehole to me.

I might be very cynical, but this weirdness could be at least partly slightly influenced by the guy owning all these papers being Bertie’s mate. Which still won’t excuse it if he’s re-elected.
