So if you want to stop something being built you have to resort to "planning-centric" reasons - increased traffic, effect on the environment, etc - otherwise nobody who actually has any influence can legally pay any heed, even if they're sympathetic. I get so many objection letters complaining about something like a new horse glue factory or an especially radiocative mobile phone mast in the centre of a childrens' playground for bullshit reasons connected with the "fact" that all the children will immediately get run over, or building work will disturb the nest of the only breeding pair of triple-penised phlegm pigeons left in the area.<BR/><BR/>And even if you adopt this approach, still nobody will pay any attention.
